Francesco Rizzo from Santacroce (San Pellegrino Terme 1485 - Venice 1545) workshop Madonna with Child Jesus and San Giovannino Oil on panel 41 x 47 cm   In the full typicality of Rizzo's art, also in this panel we see a sacred conversation in the foreground, with strips of landscape as a backdrop. The act of attribution is facilitated by the pose of the San Giovannino with his arms crossed, a detail inherited from his teacher Francesco di Simone and recurrent in the art of Francesco Rizzo.
